Hapar 2000

One thing I liked about our house was the face that there were no stairs to climb. Climbing the narrow staircase with such a large belly has proven difficult and I tire easily, but what sim wouldn't when they're carrying three babies in thier belly.

To pass the time and to get ahead of things, I've been working from home, writing articles for the paper and for STAR. Oh, I forgot to mention that! I am now a correspondant for STAR International Magazine, it pays a little extra simoleans which is always appreciated in this economy. So that job, my job with the paper, and the commission I recieve from my architectural designs manages to keep us with a nice nest egg. However I might have to give something up, I've been working so hard and with the babies I will need all the time I can get.

Speaking of babies, I went into labor in the middle of the night-why can't labor happen in the morning right after breakfast, per se. Tobi rushed me to the clinic where Julio performed a Csection and soon we had our triplets: Aaron, Ping and Simora.

They are all so precious. At first I could only help a little as the surgery left me sore. But soon I was on my feet, helping Tobi with those late night feedings. Which, when you have three mouths to feed seem like an endless cycle.

Nevertheless, Tobi and I made sure to leave time to enjoy ourselves. So we attended the grand opening of Jonagold Shoppes II (which I designed) for a few hours. The shoppes are directly behind our apartment so it was a short walk. We enjoyed a breakdancing performance and did a little shopping before returning home to the triplets.

A Little Down Time

Hapar 2000

The beginning of the month was a welcome change from the cold winter that left us stranded indoors many simdays with the large amounts of snow. Finally it was spring and time for baseball season which would lead into basketball and football season. Speaking of which, I need to talk to Jesse about playing a game of flag football soon, now that the snow is gone.

Li and I settled into our new apartment. With the hood council mandate, all we could afford was a unit at Daniels Row. It's a bit small, our bedroom barely has enough room for our double bed, but it's comfortable. Li quickly got to work renovating it, as much as she could with her large belly, and preparing the nursery for the babies. It's a bit harder to decorate, so she says, since imports are greatly restricted. But she made it work and it looks great.

Work has been slow, the occasional vandalism of property or stolen newspapers. Nothing serious, thank goodness. With the influx of tourists and transient sims, many residents expected crime to increase, but it hasn't. Apple Valley Metro hasn't either.

I should have appreciated the downtime at work. Now that the babies are here, I spend every waking minute with them. Three little mouths to feed. Li was amazing, the delivery was quick. I admit, I was worried at first since this is Apple Valley's first triplet delivery, but Julio did a great job and after a few days in the clinic, the babies were ready to come home. Aaron, Ping and Simora keep us very busy to say the least. Thankfully, I managed to take a few days off to help Li care for them.

Even though we both had days off to care for the babies, we still crashed whenever we could. I barely see my wife awake and soon I will have to return to work and Li's maternity leave will be over. We'll have to see about getting a nanny or a babysitter soon, but I don't know if we can afford it.

Financial Strain

Yes, it's no secret that we're experiencing financial strain as of late. The IVF treatment was §5,000; then each doctor's visit is §500 and we still need to furnish the nursery and pay bills. It seems like the money doesn't stretch enough.

This pregnancy is so...uncomfortable. Ugh...not only physically, but financially as well. The fertility treatments were expensive, not to mention the continuous clinic visits. But good news is that we're having triplets! Yes, three babies! It will be crowded for a bit, but this is all we can afford at the moment.

Finally, we're having a family. I am beyond thrilled. I called my father and told him the great news and everyone was so happy. Anika Rose decided not to move to AV with us due to the upcoming birth. We're going to the clinic to find out if it's a boy or a girl. I am beyond thrilled!

New Places-Soon New Faces

We moved into our new apartment on the request of the new hood council. I love living here and designing the home was well worth it as well. Unfortunately now I have to make modifications to most of the lots since we're restricting imports. I told Tobi that we're pregnant and he was soooo excited. He spun me around the room and I promptly vomited all over him :)

Expanding Family

My sister, Anika Rose, called. She wants to finish her high school years here, so of course I agreed. I have to tell Li so she won't be shocked with Anika shows up the next simday. She'll be taking the room meant for the nursery...it's not getting used anyhow.

I'm bitter if you can't tell. Bewteen the neighborhood dogs digging up the yard, the fact that we're still not pregnant and seeing all these happy families with children! I resent this! Why can't we have a child of our own!

I'm pregnant! Finally! I got the call from the clinic, but since it's Christmas Eve, I think I'll surprise Tobi and tell him on Christmas Day! Finally pregnant! Once I start showing, we'll be able to ind out if we're having a boy or a girl! I'm so excited!

Fiona has taken over the hood council and we have many conversations on the phone. She is pregnant with her first child...a bit bittersweet as I remember having the biggest crush on her as a teen and vice versa. Funny how life changes. I wonder if we would be pregnant if I was married to her? Who knows. Christmas is almost here, I need to find Li's gift.

Still Trying and Waiting

Tobi and I visited the clinic to discuss our fertility options. It encouraged us that there are options for us, so needless to say we signed up. We have to take out a small loan or we're considering either selling the house and moving to a small apartment instead to say money for the procedure.

Speaking of apartments, with the new deal signed, Apple Valley Metro is now open to residents. Now the council wants me to oversee the creation of a gated community for the "upper crust" and a series of attached townhomes.

Rotten Luck

Our luck is going from bad to worse. We are not pregnant still even after all the trying in the world and now it's becoming a chore. We have to try at certain times and positions and good riddance! I miss the fun of it all! Then we had a burgular! Can you believe it! My sources from SCPD say that the woman has been targeting smaller hoods with weak security measures, but she planned wrong on targeting Apple Valley and double wrong when targeting my house. I managed to nab her and then backup from SCPD flew in to take her back to the city. The real question is, how long had she been hiding out on AV and who else was on her list?

What's Going On?

Now that we decided to start trying for a baby, nothing seems to be happening. No pregnancy, no cravings, nothing. I suppose we'll give it a few more tries and then I'm heading to the clinic. They have a fertility treatment available and we could always try that...yes, it will be expensive, but still, we want a baby!

I woke up this morning with a craving for cheesecake and dreams of babies. Gosh, I have babies on the brain. Maybe I'm pregnant already...wouldn't that be wild! I haven't had any morning sickness, so I doubt it. But it would be nice to have a child. I guess listening to Sandy and Jadhira talk about thier children has made me want one even more. I talked to Tobi today about it on the phone and we promised to discuss it more once I return, just to make sure I am really ready.

We are finally here! Kono Resort. The first thing we did after checking into the resort and dropping off our bags was to sample the sauna. It was amazing. Jadhira had a great idea to try and have a trip every other season, just the three of us best friends. No husbands or kids. Speaking of children, I have been thinking about the possibility of trying to have a child after this trip. Tobi and I celebrated our anniversary and I think that now is a good time for a child.

Girl's Weekend

I am planning a girls weekend trip to Tiki Island with my friends Sandy and Jadhira. We're going to have a lot of fun! I am looking for a nice tropical resort for us to stay in and also some hula shows. Sandy wants to take fire dancing lessons, so that will definately be on the list while Jadhira wants to learn more about the culture so we're doing some tours and visiting the Lost Ruins. I just want to visit the beach and get a tan...and do some shopping :)

New Friends

I have found a new friend, her name is Sun and she lives in Ellicot. We sound almost like the same sim, it's funny! What's not funny is the weight I've picked up. Ugh, I want my fit figure back and have been working out and eating this weird bran mixture. Hopefully I'll get my figure back soon. Tobi wants a child...I want a simillion simoleans, but we all can't be happy can we. I know that I will give in soon. I see the way neighborhood women look at him and swoon over him. He could have his pick of any other woman willing to carry his seed...it might as well be his wife.

Longing for a Little One

Things are going well. Fall is almost over and the official day of winter is upon us. Li wants to throw a party...how can I say no to her. I am trying to convince her that we are ready for a baby, but she suggested a dog or a puppy. Ha! My friend, Jesse, came over to play a little catch and we discussed the cons of having career orientated wives. His wife is going to be the next hood council president, and even they are trying to get pregnant (since a motherly president is more approachable or something like that). I hope Li will want to have children soon...or maybe we'll have a little accidental surprise.

This historical project is a heavy load. Thank goodness there are so many volunteers to help out. I've gotten several old photos, some from the TS1 days. Makes me wish I knew more about my family tree, but we left Kimikura when I was a toddler. I know that my grandparents are still alive and well in Kimikura-I miss them especially since I was able to reconnect with them during our honeymoon. I think I'll convince Tobi to take a night out on the town with me.

Celebrating

Li got a contract for her first book. We stayed in and had champagne and fruit and...well, other things :)

Our anniversary is coming up and I've been getting the notion that we need to expand our family. I don't know how to bring it up to Li, but I will soon. The spare bedroom is sitting there waiting for a crib and the pitter patter of tiny feet.

You'll have to just wait to read about the interview in the paper. She and her husband are sweet people, but I wonder why they keep returning to this small place?

With the new media sale, things are looking well for Apple Valley. There's more simoleans for each family it seems. Every resident prospers...but for how long? I've seen this cycle before, prosperity and then disaster-that's what happened before the flood. Li says I'm being silly, but what if something bad happens-like another storm.

Hot Husband

Yes, my husband is hot. I admit it-I tell him so each day. Not only is he attractive, but fun. Only he would convince me to play in the leaves-in my underwear!

Decorating

During our honeymoon I found a rare vase in the dirt, so I sold it and Li, being the woman that she is and I love her dearly, decided to redecorate. To be honest, I love it and decided to write about it :)

First, she had the existing half wall that seperated the kitchen/dining room and the living area taken down, then she had a series of walls put up to divide the space into smaller "rooms".

The foyer starts with our existing benches and paintings in the same position and she moved our old rug to the area.
Then she had a half wall installed and shelves added so we could display our souveniors, new carpeting and wall paint

and she hung the two ancestoral paintings (ts1) that I had commissioned over the stereo. One is of my ancestor, Alisa Crawston in her wedding dress, the other is of the original Greymount Sweenys on thier wedding day. In bewteen is a photo of Li and I during our wedding day. She doesn't know it, but I've commissioned a painting of it for our anniversary.

Behind the brick half wall sits the new living room with a brick accent wall, new window (to see the view of the surrounding sea). There are wooden pillars and a tibetian table. Li says it reminds her of her urban life in SimCity, My TV is still there and it still gets the sports channel so I'm happy.

She created a small reading corner for herself-so she could review books for the book club she said, I think it's her little zone-her comfort area, so to speak. Sort of like "Sports at 6" is my zone.

Now the kitchen is walled in, it looks the same, there is a space in the walls (no doors-to restrictive Li said) for the entrance

the accent tile has been extended to the new wall of the dining room and our old stencil has been moved.

The kitchen is walled in (I still think we need a sink, Li said not to worry, that the kitchen will be getting a facelift soon-yikes!).

Surprisingly it didn't take a lot of money for the drastic changes since we used our souveniors, and previous items. Li says she wants to do the master bedroom and bath next, I personally would like a basketball court, but I don't think that will be happening anytime soon.

Honeymoon

The honeymoon was great! Tobi did a great job planning it!

First Tobi arranged for me to meet my grandparents Ming and Sing. We spent some time playing Majhong and talking about my parents. They showed me photos of me as a baby and it was a lot of fun learning more about my Kimikurian history.

We then spent time at our hotel-Kimikura Resort and did what honeymooners usually do ^_^

Tobi made sure that we saw the sights like the Temple of Lucky Blessings where we each made a wish-I don't know if it works, but Tobi found $1000 on the vacation and I found a rare map-not to mention my grandparents.

We ate local food including sushi and charisma. I performed in a karoke competition :)

We participated in an ancient ceremonial tea ceremony with my grandparents.

It was a lot of fun, we're already planning on coming back again. Maybe once we have children so they can see Kimikura, or maybe just another trip later...anniversary maybe.

Elections Upcoming

The elections are coming up soon and most of the hood is talking about the new candidates-the entire council is stepping down. Yikes! Thank goodness Li and I's jobs are not dependant on being appointed for the position. It's good that the council is stepping down, especially Ayanna. She hasn't been the same since her husband died. I wonder what she will do after this term. Maybe take her daughter's place as host of The Peacock?

Wedding Plans

Some wedding planning inspirations I found online. The inspiration board is my favorite-it combines my favorite color (red) and my asian background. There is also a nod to my urban childhood in SimCity and seeing all the glamourous sims walk about during the evening.

In reality, the wedding will be fairly simple, yet modern. Instead of the stuffy wedding cake, we're doing some yummy cakes from CupaJava. Also I found the table, chair and buffet linens and some more accessories.

Getting Ready

Getting ready for the election which means hours of sorting through the residents' files and making sure everything is in order so that when residents come to the polls, things will go quickly. I think we should get rid of the excess polling booths, only one will do-after all this island is so small that there shouldn't be a big problem with voting. If we got rid of a booth, then I could have more space for security issues and things. Like selling alarm systems.

Covering the News

I've been spending my working days doing research for the newspaper articles, working on the historical society and the large project that I'm heading up, not to mention planning the last minute details for the wedding. I wish my parents were still alive to see me get married, but they died shortly before my last simday in school. I had to attend university on my own without thier advice or support. I hope they are proud of me.

Honeymoon Planning

Li wants to know where we're going for the honeymoon. It's a surprise! I plan on taking her to Kimikura, the home of her ancestors to visit her grandparents whom she hasn't seen since she was a toddler. I was able to find them and convince them to keep the trip a secret, I hope Li will like it.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Party

Tobi and I had a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. Tobi sent out the invitations since I don't know a lot of sims here on the island yet. I met quite a few women and we all had a blast drinking and dancing and being silly. It was wonderful!

Unfortunately, the conversation drifted into politics quite a bit since the Hood President's daughter was there and another woman who was thinking about entering the election. Thank goodness I won't be entering, my position as a civic employee means that I don't have to be elected, I just need the skills. The elections are weird here-especially since the island is so small, but that's a topic for another day.

Wedding Planning

Tobi and I decided to have our wedding on simTuesday. We wanted to wed on simWednesday, but the Hood President's daughter is getting married that day and we might be exiled if we chose the same day :P

Otherwise things are going well. We went out on the town and visited the Peacock for dinner (Chicken Pot Pie and Mahi Mahi) then we visited the Green Tables and won so much money that we can pay for our wedding! I think we should go again and try and win simoleans for the honeymoon. Speaking of honeymoon, I wonder where we're going?

Changes

So much has changed in a matter of simdays. The hood is destroyed, my family decided to emmigrate to Bottom Beach, but I decided to remain. I became an adult and I found love in the arms of a city planner. I proposed to her and she accepted. What joy!

The beginning. Many sims already know about the fllod and stuff, so I won't repeat that, but while in the shelter I met the most wonderful woman. She helped with the design of so many buildings on the isle and she and I shared nice long talks and soon we were in love. I waited until we got on dry soil and then I proposed! Thank goodness she said yes!

Well, I am here in Apple Valley. I must say, I do enjoy this quaint little place. Originally I hail from the busy SC. I recently graduated with a degree in architecture and was given the opportunity to help the hood rebuild. Well, with all my designs and meeting the residents I feel in love with the community and with Tobi. I am happy to have met him and we're getting married soon! He proposed to me our first day on the new isle. I love the ring, it's very nice, passed down through his father's family, his ancestor-Leigh Sweeny originally wore the ring, so it dates back to the TS1 days! I work as the local reporter and Archives/Technology Officer for the hood, so I spend my days at the computer and strolling about looking for news.

Marilyn and I went out on a date. We went to Tiki Joe's for skating and pizza. Well, they were sold out of pizza so we simply skated.

She confuses me to say the least. I mean, one minute I think she likes me and the next she's pulling away from me. She wants to cuddle and slow dance, but she doesn't want to dance close.

Promotion

Just when I thought about throwing in the towel, I get promoted. It was amazing actually. I went into my boss's office in order to resign and they were desperate for a fourth to round out a golf team for a tournament and asked me on the spot-well, the CEO was there and I couldn't say no. So I'm on the course, last hole and the CEO and I are tied to win. I could throw the game and allow her to walk away a winner or try my best. I decided, what the heck, I'm out of here anyway so I do my best and our team ends up winning the entire tournament! Then the CEO turns to me and says "I wish more sims were assertive like you, consider yourself the Vice-President of our Foreign Investments and take the day off."

So, now I'm the VP with a nice office, nice salary and I was prepared to walk. What a difference a simday makes!

My Little Lady

Anika Rose celebrated her child birthday and she's such a sweetheart. She's already made friends with a new resident, Bill Carr. They play together almost everyday with the water toys. I suppose once it gets colder, they'll play with something else, maybe catch or tag.

The Plunge

Will take the plunge and quit my job at SC Financial. I will work as the bank manager at The Centre, which will basically mean I get paid for the work I already do and now I can focus on it more. I will have an office and manage Sage and other future tellers we will have. I will meet with residents to decide on loans and banking accounts. I am very excited! I have so much more responsibility than I did with SC Financial anyway!

I've been considering quitting my job downtown with SC Financial Investments and working full-time at the hood's bank. Right now Sage has been "promoted" to the task as teller-he basically rings up purchases, but I think customers need to be better educated. We sell investment gold, piggy banks and this is where loans and mortgages are discussed. I think I would need to be there full-time, but how would that work with Ayanna managing The Centre. I seem to be at a plateau here at SCFI so perhaps quitting isn't such a bad idea.

Hood Council Note: New Lot

The Garden Association met with me today. They presented a proposal for a botonical garden. The garden would reside on a lot as small as 2x2 to as large as 3x3. In addition to the numerous flowers, plants and walking paths, there would be a greenhouse (with a space for weddings), stage for performances.

The club even had a mock-up design of the garden with a japenese garden, country cottage garden, space for the stage, and coffee shop.

They emphasized that this would not duplicate the purpose of Celebration Park in that the botanical gardens would be mostly educational, an area for beautiful weddings and special events such as concerts. Which Apple Valley does need.

I reviewed thier proposal and looked at some numbers. Also I have determined a suitable location for the site-and the site is now nearing final construction.

Family History

Our family history was posted by the Historical Society. It was nice reading a little about the family, there's more of course, but I suppose that's for the family to know. Stories for my to share with the children. Things are going much better-I had gained a little-ok a lot-of weight during the break from Pahala Shore and I had to spend some marathon sessions working out. My character hasn't been appearing much, thankfully his storyline is going to get meatier.

After much complaint, the mortgage system has been altered.

After investigating the options and noting current technology Apple Valley will use the following system for mortgages.

Residents will use the Monique Payer/Payee Bills/Book for mortgages.

Mortgages will have a daily payment and must be paid within 42 simdays.

Families must have a minimum of 10% downpayment for thier home.

Current interest rate for all loans is 5%

The total amount of the mortgage will be calculated as:
( Amount of house - downpayment ) * (1 + interest rate)
(§20,000-§2,000)*1.05=§22,500 mortgage

The daily payment is calculated as:
mortgage amount/42 (rounded to nearest §10)
§22,500/42=§540 daily payment

The mortgage amount, interest rate and number of days remaining for the mortgage will be noted in each household's "bio" screen and maintained by the Financial Director.

All families that have mortgages less than five simdays old, their mortgages will automatically be recalculated using the new system.

Families are encouraged to meet with the Financial Director at the bank in order to discuss affordability based on daily salary and current debts.

I hate Apple Valley, it's too small and too...I don't know...small. Make Me a Model is preparing for thier next season, I will audition. I haven't told Hazel Starr...we're supposed to leave Apple Valley together and persue our careers in showbusiness but...she's not all there anymore...she's gaining weight-not good for a model or actress-her career is basically over and mine is just beginning. I think I would be the best model evah!

Rayne and I went to Tati's to discuss hood council business. It's a nice place to have a good meal and relax. I looked over her proposal for the Musik Festival...it seems like a large undertaking for our hood, not to mention the cost of having such an event. We'd have to pay performers, renovate the venue, maintain security, etc.

I've been on cooking duty at home, mom and dad think that we should learn how to cook basic meals, but Etta Leigh burns everything she touches-except for salads of course, so we eat a lot of salads when it's Etta Leigh's turn to cook.

I have been thinking about university, I'm not sure that I will go, I want to be a police officer and you don't need a degree for that. Besides, what could I learn at college that I couldn't learn from the sims on the force.

With the new public school opening soon, all the teens in the hood can't stop talking about it-including Tobi. He and Etta Leigh both attend private school, but it seems like he wants to go to the public school. Etta Leigh turned up her nose at the "mere mortals". I wonder if I should allow Tobi to attend?

Finally, the bank is complete...well, at least the construction is. There's the main lobby, ATM, and a small cubicle/office to meetings regarding financial discussions (college funding, mortgages, etc). In the lobby residents can also pick up bill payment invoices and books to keep track of regular payments, such as taxes, tithes, etc. Checkbooks and investment silver and gold will also be sold.

Hihi, I was named Mr. Teen Scream at the Apple Dumpling Ball. Hihi, that's cool. I'm trying to find a job as a school crossing guard. I love the law and fighting to make sure that it's obeyed. I wonder if I will ever be able to become the jailor for the hood. The stipend is free housing (no mortgage or rent payments) and I'd work at the force downtown and keeping the streets of Apple Valley safe...hmmm, one day.

Still maintain the Starr Grey Townhomes (two-2 unit townhomes on McIntosh) and AVBH (4 rooms available for rent)

Build mixed income housing area:
Build three small lot homes on Fuji Court. At least two homes must be at least two bedroom and one bath, less than $15,000, other must be bewteen $15,000 and $30,000. At least two homes one story, one home two story.

Renovate skating rink so more sims can enter rink to skate.

Build Celebration Park II
Small grill area, playground, bathroom on 2x3 lot

Revamp Celebration Park I
Demolish grill and playground area to create more open space. Add chess set, focus more on the lake and fishing activities

Expand Modern Sculpture Park
Demolish small 1x3 lot and build on larger 2x3 lot
Buy Euphoria from Tatiana Garris, use additional land space for the new park
Will increase value of new homes on Fuji Court

Renovate The Core
The Core is too bulky and hinders views of main street (McIntosh)
Demolish 2nd level.
Create 5-9x8 office spaces for the following retailors: The Green Paw Pet Shop; Gears & Beyond; Snips; Wearable Art; I-Scream Icecream & Pizza

My son has these big dreams and hopes. He wants to become a police officer. He wants to start a family and he's thinking about skipping out on university to get his dreams and goals. O dear, doesn't he realize that a degree is very important?
I've been voted as a permenant Hood Council member, depending on how well my terms go, since A'ron and I have an anti-aging wavier due to his work with Pahala Shore. So they figured that it's best for me to be a stable fixture to the council. I don't mind, I love it.

Our little family is expanding and I'm not sure that I can keep up with it. I worry that I won't bring in enough simoleans to support the family. Etta Leigh wants private dance lessons and singing lessons, and she'll be going to university soon which all cost plenty of simoleans. My little girl has big dreams...not sure about her talent. Pahala Shore is done for the season and we have an hiatus, thankfully I have a job next season. There have been some casting calls for other projects on the boards-not sure if I should/can audition for them. As long as they don't interfer with Pahala Shore.

Hood Council Note: Hood Council Report

The new term will begin soon and Ayanna asked us all to submit a council report of our tasks and recommendations.

My goals for the term:

Build upon the current business laws: done, a very intensive law has been drafted and approved

Revisit taxes and find an easy system to deduct taxes and fees: done, taxes are now taken every simMonday. Residents must obtain thier payment invoices by this simFriday and set-up the payments to the hood council. This makes the payments automatic, need to determine where the payments will go.

Establish a program for Small Business Loans: not done

Build a Community Memorial Gardens: done and successful

Revamp Celebration Park: done, but a bit crowded with the new features, may have to build a second park

Recommendations:

Might need to divide tasks a bit more. It is difficult to manage the real estate of the hood, especially things like parks, however do not see a clear way to divide the tasks as of yet, except to have more resident input or maybe hire a part-time consultant to control the real estate issues of the hood since this isn't a full time issue.

Financial Director Tasks: Oversee hood finances, implement taxes and welfare support. Coordinate local trades and import based on needs of the community, oversee local businesses and associated laws, collect taxes and fees from residents.

Real Estate Consultant Tasks:Manage community lots, construction of new homes and destruction of homes. Manage the local real estates and architectural planning of the hood, including any community lots, general beautifying and landscape community gardens, recreation areas and health of animals and native plants.

I'm pregnant with our third child. I barely show, thank goodness. Unfortunately the doctor said that I will need to stay at home. Thankfully I draw maternity leave from work otherwise we'd have to depend on A'ron's income from his projects and at the moment, they are drying up on him. He has another season with Pahala Shore and his paycheck from the Arrendale Heights bit will come soon. Etta Leigh has decided that she will pursue a music career. Thankfully I used my position on the hood council to get her a job tuning the piano at The Centre and she spends evenings practicing the bass guitar...badly.

My stint with Arrendale Heights is almost over...I think I put a little too much into my character. I am bored. I finished my scenes with Pahala Shore ages ago, I only have one more scene to film for the finale. Ka'obi and I are trying to have a child and Etta Leigh is...well, goodness that child gives us a bit of trouble every now and again. Thankfully she's not as bad as her counterpart-Hazel Starr. I need more work.

I went to Amata's house to talk about the industry along with Tatiana. Amata's having better luck than I am, she has a callback for a new soap and she might be the first face of Apple Valley on the new news channel...maybe if she gets the call back for the soap, I could audition for the news. *sigh* I desperately need more work.

The hood council is letting us host the Apple Dumpling Ball, it's just for teens. Hazel Starr and I are on the planning committee. I think we should invite some hot celebrity guys. I need a great dress, especially since I'm way hotter than every other girl in this hood-even Hazel Starr isn't hotter than me. She's my BFF, but not hotter than moi! Maybe I should go to Francia for university-the guys there are sooo hott. The guys in the hood are not my type-not cool enough. I need to find a date, maybe I'll be hotter if I go solo-yea, hotter solo.

Mother and father are moving to the boarding house. Ka'obi and I are trying for another child. I don't have many scenes for Pahala Shore this season and my bit part in Arrendale Heights is almost over. You may have seen me in the latest episode as the prosecutor for the Hector case. Thankfully, my contract renewed for Pahala Shore so I have a job for the remainder of the year, Ka'obi is doing well with work. She's now selling insurance and is due for a promotion...hopefully. Etta Leigh is signed for another A.Pentragnani campaign and Tobi...well, Tobi is well. I hope he finds some interests soon.
